Florauna

Florauna are a plant-based alien with five vine-like legs, four-fingered claws, and venus flytrap-shaped flaps covering their heads. Florauna can grow to stretch their limbs great lengths or grow thorns to cause additional damage. They can also merge with other plants, and can burrow underground to conduct surprise attacks or travel quickly. Eight regrowable seeds on their back can be used as various types of explosives, both lethal and non-lethal. When exposed to cold, kept from sunlight, or deprived of a water source, however, Florauna quickly wither up.
